I just bought the 95mm swaro and was trying to figure out if the slik 634 cf was enough tripod to handle it, or if I should look towards something else. What is everyone running their 95s on

Hi
The new CF-634 (If the CF comes after it's the older model), would be great for that scope. We sell them often. You can combine it with a Promaster SPCH20 head. The new model has improved leg locks as the biggest difference.
Give me a call to discuss the Rokslide price.

Can you shoot me a number to call??

For what it's worth, I had the Slik 634 and had a couple plastic parts break on it. I got fed up and just purchased the outdoorsman's compact tripod. It is all metal construction and appears to be much more durable that the slik.

I run a Kowa 88mm spotter and I think almost any good set of tripod legs worth $100 or more (maybe less) with a hook to hang your pack on, will suffice. Save the money there and invest in a great head that can lock down without residual movement. The outdoorsmans panhead does that for mine.

I'm not running a 95mm spotter but the Kowa 88mm using a Outdoorsmans Medium Tripod and their pan head. Rock solid combination albeit a little on the pricy side.
