Haul road

Just trying to find a way to post photos. See if this works. My 1st trip to ak , I did the haul road with a rifle ,shot him 6 miles in . This was in 2001. Now I am planning to return in 2027 a d do a fly in float hunt in 26c.

2 Of us we spent just under 2 grand a piece . From Pa. And back . Rented a raft in deadlhorse off the tire shop to get across the sag near Franklin bluff . There is some sold ground over there. The next trip will cost me over 10 times that price.

Man I really suggest not posting your specific destinations inside AK on a forum. These rivers are not as big and vast as you might assume.

Sorry guys , it's hard to get any info on the net. Looks like it is 25 eco tours for every hunter on these river now days. I try pm . I need to order some of those tag bags and retire my old "real macoy" bags , those will cut the weight of my kill kit by more then half.

i am aware of the eco tours because you said the same thing on the other forum..... someone searching to hunt up here is not going to get a bunch of hits from "eco tour" searches. would you put out in public all the local areas that you hunt that are public land?
