Has anybody here actually received a stimulus check?

Not that I care much about this $$$ but I have a buddy who is flat out convinced that they are never going to happen, but I can’t really comment since I don’t know a single person who has gotten one, just a few random comments on yahoo about people talking about getting one.

I got a stimulus check in the form of the IRS telling me I needed to pay for 20 stimulus checks in addition to the 20 that I already paid for with income tax.

Capital Gains are a bitch. #blessed

The deposit showed up in our account this morning like any deposit does a day before it goes in. It was the amount it was supposed to be.

My wife has a pending transaction on her account...nothing on mine as of yet. I was half joking when I was telling a buddy that these checks will be sent to a select group of the population automatically while the rest of us will have to proactively ask for it or we won't get it haha. Hope those that need it, get it soon to soften the blow.

I don’t think it’s a lie, I had my doubts when random yahoo comments were talking about getting them but seems like People here are getting them. I still don’t personally know anybody who has gotten one.

It sounds like they are dispersed based on need and if you make more it might take longer.
