Anyone use these boots?

I'm looking for an archery season boot that is a little more robust than my Salomon Quest 4D but is still lightweight.
I've worn Tibets for years but it's not much for stealth.
The Salomon has been a comfortable lightweight boot with a good ground feel, almost mocassin-like.
It's not much for longevity though.

If I can get used to wet feet, I may just stick with the Salomon. The Cheyenne might be just as porous.

I've used the Solomon X Ultra Mid GTX boots for a season and I cannot get over how quiet and comfortable they are. What sort of issues have you seen that would make you think that your Solomons are not robust?

The Quest is extremely comfortable, probably the most comfort out of the box that I've ever tried.
Light weight, plenty stealthy but they leaked fairly quickly and the leather parts are splitting.
Also, when the pack gets heavy my feet get sore in the Salomons which is not unexpected with the soft flexible sole.

Maybe I can't have it both ways: sturdy for packing but tennis shoe-like for stalking.
I may just stick with the quest. But when a boot goes quickly from no-leak to faucet I'm hesitant to buy another pair.

I tried both the Salomon's and the Cheyenne's. Kept the Cheyenne's as they were far more comfortable and just fit my foot better. I have had them for three years and worn them for early archery hunts all the way through early winter. They are really well made comfortable boots, I have had no problems with them. The only negative is that they don't offer enough support for me if I am hunting steeper country, or somewhere where I will be doing a lot of side-hilling I find myself going to the Tibets more and more.

I have both boots as well, (Salomons and CHeyennes") and can echo what Riplip said. I would say they fit true to size, maybe a hair short, but remember they aren't in US sizes. I ended up with an 11.5 which is approximately a 12.5 US...I usually wear a 12. The Cheyenne is simply "more boot" than the Quest.

The Cheyennes fit pretty true, similar to the Tibet for me. I went up a 1/2 size in each.

I decided on the Hanwag Dakotas from STP with a few good coupon codes.

Little higher ankle fit than the Cheyenne.
I like the foot fit and lace out closer to the toe.
I think this might be the combo I was looking for: stealth and support.

Definitely "more boot" than the Quest but a little less sneaky.
