I've been holding out to stock up on the powders I use frequently. They come in stock and go quickly but they are around for those willing to look. Several places even have reasonable prices. Accurate powders have been in stock for the last couple weeks if that's what you're looking for.

Running into the same issue for 6.5 PRC. Retumbo or RL 26, some 5 series Vihtavuori's could work depending on load

Another vote for imr7828. And imr powders always seem to be on the shelf at our store

I load IMR 7828 for my 300 WM and my 300 shoots 180 gr accubond amazingly ground at 3200 fps.

Join the reddit r/reloading discord. H1000 pops up every few days and if you're diligent you'll get some. My wife scored 4lbs from powder valley a week ago and I just saw it again this morning from both powder valley and hogdons website. Hazmat fee is easier to swallow when you buy 3-4lbs. Good luck!

Join the reddit r/reloading discord. H1000 pops up every few days and if you're diligent you'll get some. My wife scored 4lbs from powder valley a week ago and I just saw it again this morning from both powder valley and hogdons website. Hazmat fee is easier to swallow when you buy 3-4lbs. Good luck!

Exactly, H1000 has actually been the easiest powder to find over the past few months. RL 26, N565, and N570 have been non-existent lately. Primers have even been showing up the last couple weeks.

I will say that Discord is a great way to get alerted but when I bought some H1000 last week I never saw an alert from discord, and that's happened a number of times so don't just rely on discord.

I've been trying to figure out when they decide to drop it on the website at hodgdon or powder valley. I see them come and go at all hours which makes me think it must be automated.

It seems there is no set schedule. I made a spreadsheet a while back to try and figure out the timing of when things became available from the various vendors but there was no particular pattern that I could see.

Probably vary the times to keep bots from buying it all. I know they've improved on that front, but it still happens. I think the OP just disappeared

Ok, easy may not be the best word but it’s definitely been available from Hogdgon, PV, and Brownells over the past month or two. For a 3 week period it was available at 2 or 3 times each week.

It was "available" today but hard to purchase. I did get some retumbo shortly after. In the last 2 weeks I've been able to purchase h4350, h4831 and retumbo. All I need is some h1000 to round out the calibers I load for.

Yes, 8lb's were available from PV this morning. I'm just looking for 565 and 570 now but I haven't seen much of that around for quite a while.

VV has been producing a lot but not the slower powders. Precision and Scheels have been well stocked for VV lately. Might get lucky soon.
