GWH breeders in Wisconsin German wirehaired pointers

Personally, I'd find the right dog, no matter the state.

BIg investment. I know it can be hard to find an available litter, but if you can, go see pups in person.

You can tell a lot about a pups natural ability and drive just watching them play outside at 5-6 weeks

I have a 5 year old female from Nathan. Awesome dog! Wish I had 2 more like her.

He is a great trainer and devoted hunter. Usually only does 1 litter a year. His current female is very impressive and I believe he plans to breed her this year. In WI, worth a call. Great guy.

She just turned 5 this month. That pic was mid January 2025. So about 2 months shy of 5 years old. Shot a limit of bobwhites over her that day.

She has the potential to be exceptional with professional training. But she’s very good even with my lack of formal training. I shot pointed prairie chickens and roosters over her in the same field in December, her first season at 9 months old.

I’m a big believer in genetics. Start with good genes and then you just have to stay out of their way lol. There are a number of breeders making extremely good GWP’s around the country. But I will get another pup from Nathan when I can.
