I’ve had the pleasure of using the Revic BR4 over the last month. The app is spot on. The RF allows you to input wind speed and direction and you can actually see what rifle profile you are using in the read out. This unit is very impressive.

Well, it did better than the Leica I was testing it against. Still has the battery it came with, So far so good. Testing it in the cold might not happen for awhile:)

Do you know when they will be shipping them out? My buddy bought it last spring as part of his system and is anxiously waiting for it...and I want to test his out. haha

Got mine this week. What a HUGE improvement from the 2500! Everything that I disliked about the 2500 has been nicely addressed. The display contrast in the br2 and 2500 was terrible. I had to cover the lens with my hand to make enough contrast to see the displayed corrections. The BR4 is, without reservation, my favorite RF. Nice work Gunwerks!

So.....what's the head to head of the BR4 against the Sig Kilo 2400ABS? Sig also has the 5k coming out and a couple others. Very intrigued by your response. I have the 2400abs. Love it, but hate the limited number of "profiles". I had the BR2 but hated the weight/size.

The 2400 was ahead of its time. But Sigs QC sucked for me. I sent the 2400 in for repair three times. The BR4 has a better laser than the 2400. I also love the 10x magnification for LR shooting and hunting. It won’t be ideal for bowhunting. My favorite feature is seeing which profile you have loaded into the BR4. I have messed this up before. But the most impressive feature is being able to put in directional wind and speed.

Sticking with my old BR2 I got for $700! It’s only 3 oz heavier and will do everything I need for hunting purposes and 7-900 yard shots with a standard wind meter and a spotter reading wind! Don’t have 15 minutes to spot game at long distances and input info. The new size is ideal for a bowhunter! But who needs to range at 4000 yards???

The new size is ideal for anyone that wants to pack it in a bino harness, which is the vast majority of us.

I guess I figure taking off my Bino harness laying prone position anyways along with pack , so the couple extra inches or ounces won’t really matter when I take off everything to execute the shot. Just how I practice!

Maybe for archery hunters or where reading wind calls doesn’t make a great difference at shots where I can see a quick access, small unit working for fast shots at moderate ranges. I mean if you have to put it on a tripod to get very accurate readings, I rather pack the older unit in a quick access portion of my pack.

My buddy got his BR4 last week. We were planning a scouting session to go and run it side by side with my 2400 abs...but then all NF got closed. Need to find a different place to test out.

When we suggest putting it on a tripod. We're talking getting optimal performance for extremely long or difficult ranging scenarios. For handheld use, it will still beat any unit out there I've been able to compare it to.

I would like to know how they compare. I’m in the market for one and was set on the 2400abs until I saw Gunwerks.

One thing that I don’t see mentioned here is Sigs new RF ability to mark a spot with basemap. This to me is a game changer in the LRF technology. How Gunwerks wasn’t able to integrate this with their new RF is pretty odd. Seems like they are already behind in technology with their newest RF.
