Whatever you decide on, I can tell you 1" PVC pipe cut to length and put under neath of them makes moving them in your house easy. I have moved more of them than I care to.

They don't crush? I cut up a broom handle into dowels. The Sturdy shows up in a friggen pallet. I had to watch their video on how to move it off the damn thing.

PVC works extremely well. Same concept Egyptians used to build pyramids.

Wow. I imagine the plastic would crush. Surprising. Like I said I did it too like the Egyptians. I just used wood dowels.

I laid osb down and used a hand forklift to move mine. Also worked extremely well.

I used my creeper from work and just rolled it to where I wanted it

I'm still looking. There is a ton of info on the google machine. Good stuff is very expensive.

at my age or any age a strained back is not worth it. make delivery part of the deal. watched a delivery down steps with a rather large unit with a specialized machine that can go up or down steps, neat stuff.

I thought PVC would crush too, but it worked great. Wooden dowels would do the trick as well.

Bit the bullet and ordered a sturdy safe. Thanks for input. I hadn't heard of that brand until this thread. I should take delivery in 6 or 8 weeks.
