Saw this at the expo and immediately pre-ordered a E-Boiler as I now almost exclusively european mount everything.

Disclaimer- I purchased with my own money at the discounted pre-order cost. Yes it's a spendy buy once kind of purchase that I understand isn’t for everyone.

My hope is that is truly a low effort way to get exceptional european mounts with minimal effort. For me that will justify its up front cost.

I will be testing this unit with Utah's ultimate trophy- a SPIKE elk.

Since I knew the E-Boiler had shipped and I had to pack out evidence it was a spike anyways, I carried the skull out instead of just capping it.

I live in town so my neighbors probably won't appreciate the Maceration process but my brother has a couple acres and being able to leave it unchecked for a few days definitely played into my buying decision.

When you add it's ability to straight up nearly boil at 185* and degrease at 100* with minimal oversight it's potentially a huge time saver for me.

If you've ever ruined a european mount you definitely tend to pay way more attention to the process and that alone aggravates my wife to no end that I have to boil the head right after I get home from a hunting trip.

Pre-order did have some delay but knew up front it was likely a September ship time frame so not terrible.

Been waiting to see these arrive! Ordered one as well, but no shipment yet. After just boiling a spike of my own I too have high hopes for a handoff effective method. My old cooker is officially in the garbitch.

Directions say to clean it with with Isopropyl alcohol before first use as some orange coloring will bleed off from the mold process.

It did slightly discolor the paper towel as seen in the picture.

Need step is fill with water and dish soap and run between 145-160* to break down the release agents.

Super easy to set temperatures. I used hot tap water to speed the process which was about 120*

Dropped the water this afternoon. Kept it at the house and the smell hasn't been terrible but water definitely looked nasty.

Skin had started coming off but nothing sprayed off with the garden hose and nozzle.

Heating element cleaned up quickly with a dishwasher scrubbing pad.

Looks like a nice unit.

Plastic wrap works great to contain evaporation/smell. My DIY version big enough for deer has a bucket with a pour spout which makes for less dripping while emptying. A section of screen will help to catch the larger "bits" when pouring out the liquid and also helps to catch any teeth that fall out, which is common with skulls like coyote/fox. I added a GFCI plug for some extra insurance on the outdoor extension.

Sure wish they made an "easy-out" tool for eyeball removal.

I should have my unit next week … got two javelina skulls and one MD waiting .. should almost pay for its self in 1 year if my wife or dad kills anything on their tags this season.

I’m a big fan of bamboo chopsticks stolen from the local Chinese place.

I using some wire with about a 3/8” hook at the end .mix it around pull some out . then just let it get warm and set it out and the brains will start to just fall out .
