GPO rangeguide 8x40

I’m liking mine so far. The crooked display and the steep angle is definitely a minor gripe but I’ll live with it. My main issue would be that I feel like I have to keep my face away from them a bit to get a good image. I could push my face into the eyecups with my Meoptas but for some reason even with these fully extended I have to slide them down my nose with my eyes away from the eyecups to get a full image. Overall I like them and I think they are good enough to use as my primary now

I didn't spend a ton of time with them since I was solo and mostly shooting but used them for ranging and a little bit to glass around with during down time, unfortunately just scenery and not any animals to stare at longer term. The high "peak" is certainly a nitpick. The edge to edge clarity is not as crisp as my swaro ELs (regular ones) and I feel like I notice a bit of halo around the edges. But I didn't find those completely off putting (for the price point, if they were $2k binos I would expect more) and for now I plan to take them out hunting and put some real time behind them and how my eyes react after hours and see where I end up. IE do I switch back to my non-rangefinder ELs or am I happy with these?

Free hand they are nicer to range with than a monocle range finder and their size is reasonable to single hand range also. It'll take a little getting used to them on a tripod for ranging because you need to adjust the laser exactly on target versus just looking through the binos but that is just the difference between having the range finder on a tripod and not. On mine the laser seems to hit more at the 6 oclock position of the circle.

TLDR: For the price point I think they're decent and plan to hunt with them this season and see how my eyes agree (or not) with extensive time behind them.

If you are coming from mid tier binoculars I don't think you'll have any complaints with the view compared to what you have already.
Can you screw a bino adapter stud into these, or do you have to use some kind of barrel clamp to attach to a tripod?
