GPO 12.5x50 experience?

Anyone familiar with these?

I currently run EL 8x32 on my chest. Love these, especially for archery elk. Then I carry either 15x meoptas or my Kowa 77 for the tripod, but rarely both.

Drew a great archery Elk Tag for this Fall that looks like it will be glassing heavy, it’s also 90% wilderness. We’ll be packing in for the duration so weight is now a major consideration. It’s got me thinking about
going to the 12x bino + spotter combo.

I’ve been lusting for a pair of the 12x EL’s for a while, but I’m still at least a few years out on that. Heard good things about this brand on other models, just wondering if these 12.5x might be the way to go?

I picked up a pair used a few months ago. They’re not swaro 12’s, but they are pretty nice. I used them in January archery in open desert on a tripod. I’m not sure how they’d do as an only binocular on an elk hunt. I’ve hand held them a little while hiking and they’re a little much for me.
