Headed to Wyoming this coming weekend for my week long backcountry elk hunt there.

Man thats called being in the right place at the right time. Congrats. I have a serious question? This maybe my ignorance also. Can you get 2 OTC tags for Bowhunting? Im guessing you had a Either sex tag then a Cow only tag? Just curious how that works. Thanks for sharing the insight.

Yes. A person can get 2 OTC tags. In fact you can get 3.

Awesome! My dad has always told me to load your gun before cleaning your elk cause he has had this happen several times.

I have never heard of that with Elk but I cannot count how many times my dad and brother have used dead whitetails they were gutting as a rest to shoot another deer. Congrats.
