It’s a custom 300prc! How’d the weather fair? We hiked in Thursday and stayed til Sunday. Just shy of 10 miles walking distance in the flat tops and it got nasty nasty. I ended up heading southwest to some warmer weather.

It was hairy Saturday and Sunday, we made due with our tent stove. Monday things cleared up and the rest of the week was pleasant with cold nights though. We came across a group of 6 hunters who came down from Steamboat. The elk stayed high that whole week, didn’t see any below 11,000 ft. We ended up going down to Black Tail/Black Mountain. 300 PRC is a great elk round.
