Got $5k to spend on myself - what should I do?

Figure out a hunting trip you wouldn’t normally do and take the wife or a buddy along if she isn’t into tagging along. If you are really into upland hunting you could get a new shotgun and take a decent roadtrip to hit a few upland states next fall for 5k.

Either invest for your children or do something charitable. Maybe put it towards a program that introduces kids to the outdoors who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity.

I'd put it into some kind of hunt. Maybe a Midwest or Texas whitetail hunt?
