Any recommendations for good work gloves? My last 3 pairs from the local farm stores got holes in 1 day of wood cutting and splitting.

I picked up a handful of pairs from Giver Gloves when they were on big sale. They’ve been good. Wouldn’t buy standard work gloves at full price from them but for $6/pair I figured I couldn’t go wrong.

Work is pretty broad.

I've got about 6 different types of the Mechanix gloves depending on what I'm doing. They fit me well.

I usually keep a few pair of leather gloves. A thin pair that I'd rather work in gets most chores but will get a hole in the fingers after a while. Also keep a thick leather pair to use when called for. Both will last a good while. While I like Mechanix gloves, they don't tend to last long for me...

Thin grey Atlas nitrile gloves for anything year round so I can actually still do things.
My hands are really warm blooded tho. The Milwaukee ones are good too. If it's below zero or something like that I use Kincos.

I really like deerskin work gloves but the ones I can find now don’t last very long on the farm. Used to get a season out of a pair of Wells Lamont’s but now everything seems to be a lot thinner and more expensive.
