I recently acquired a Mauser 98 rifle in 30-06 that was built by Golden State Arms, a company out of Pasadena CA that I am pretty sure is long defunct. The rifle is actually quite nicely done for a sporterized Mauser, although I do think it was done on a commercial action as it has no slot for a stripper clip.
I am wondering if anyone has any familiarity with these rifles and knows the twist rate that was used on these barrels. I would think it would be a 1:10, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being a 1:11 or 1:12
