Has anyone else seen the new $500/yr offering from gohunt?

"Insider+ -Our full-featured applicatuon serv, one-on-one e-scouting and hunt planning consultaions"

Given the grammatical errors, my hunch is that maybe this wasn't supposed to be launch yet. Just a guess.

I know I've seen this discussed before, and this isn't a original idea, but there is a concern about hunting software companies taking advantage of your pins that you drop in their systems. (A tangential concerning thought to me is how will AI drastically change the hunting industry?)

I sent them a message asking if they're going to optimize user data for their "one-on-one e-scouting" and "hunt planning consultations". I asked them to point out in their terms and conditions agreement where this addresses so I could review before reuping my subscription. I've used them for several years and have enjoyed their software and discounts on gear. Not sure how I feel about this new insider + offering though.

The price intriguing for an application service, especially if the maps and insider is included(not that I use their maps much).
And especially if there is no state or species limit. I wonder what about the family included as well?
Looking at prices of those services before there was no way I could consider paying to apply for all of the stuff we do.
If they include all states and species for all 5 of us and float the NM cost too, I'd be sold.

I heard back from gohunt today.

Reply from gohunt: "We 100% absolutely DO NOT farm any user information in regards to any services we provide or for any personal employee gain. All of our hunt consultations are based purely on years of experience with our company. We are hunters too and fully understand the privacy aspect of marked points and data. Any stored information like that is also highly secure within the company and only a few people can even access it."

Depending on the quality of experienced information they provide it could be a worthwhile investment.

General info easily found elsewhere it would not be worth it.

I pay for and use epic outdoors..that $150 a year has paid for itself many times over with good advice that would have taken a ton of time and gas to figure out. These days if you want to hunt a lot it helps to be diverse in the states and kinds of opportunities..paying for experience has saved me money and time. Will be interesting to see what Gohunt has to offer.
