So I pulled the trigger on one of these guys recently and am waiting to pick it up (tents in Kalispell MT at my BILs, I'm in Billings MT). For years I've been sleeping on a cot underneath the topper in my 04 Tundra DC. I thought about getting one of their full topper/tent combos but 8K is just way too much to spend. This way ill be able to sleep on top while being able to store all my necessary gear without ever having to move it to make room for sleeping. I researched alot and came to the conclusion that the Superlite is a solid setup. I'm curious if any of you guys out there are running this tent and how you feel about it, the good and the bad. Thanks!

im still waiting for the tent to get to my house, but i will update with some pics once it arrives

You 'll like it. We have one and so does our son, both on our GX's and our other son has the GF full camper/tent on his taco. At 6'1" I just barely fit, hopefully you're not much taller.
The SL's are light and very well made.

I have the V2 camper and I’m incredibly impressed with it. It’s stood up to heavy abuse and with the RTT is still lighter than a fiberglass camper. You are getting into GoFast right after they have made some great improvements to their lineup.

If it’s not too late, I highly recommend the light kit and door props. Both of which will help you get in or out of the RTT which can be frustrating, anything to make that a smoother process you will appreciate deeply when exhausted and ready for sleep. Get the headliner (yours might come with it), it’s necessary for moisture management, especially in colder climates. Depending on where the drip points fall out on your rig you might consider the drip rails. Add a cheap vevor diesel heater and you are winter ready. Not sure of your experience with RTT but if you are at all sensitive to sleeping on an angle RV leveling blocks or similar will greatly improve the quality of your sleep.

Be prepared for the fuel penalty and added height restrictions, it’s not bad but noticeable.

Edit: I realize that the superlite is not the same as the camper, but I figured some feedback was better than no feedback and you could adapt it as necessary.
