This is the wagon I rigged up. It really was the worst condition for hauling, right around freezing, muddy, slushy, wet, soft.
I had the bike trailer for pulling behind the bike but too soft for biking. I had the sled / pulk for snow along with skis / snowshoes, but not enough snow for that. I combined the two. It worked OK but balance was off, it was either leaning forwards or backwards with the sled scraping all the time. What the little burley trailer needs is a wheel on the front so that it can ride flat. I will spend some time at home hardware and rig something up for the future. This way i'll basically be covered for all conditions. The nice thing is the burley trailer folds up and packs small, so if it had snowed as the forecast suggested, I would fold it up and put it in the sled, and ski out with the pulk, which would have been awesome!
