Glock 20 10mm holster options

I have a safariland holster for my g20. Works really well with the molle adapter they make for it. I like it better than the blackhawk

I've gotta recommend GunFighter Inc's Ronin holster with their Micro Aggression panel. I ran one of these setups for my 329PD this year and it has been phenomenal. I wanted a setup that I could keep on my person at all time, and within reach. I didn't want a chest rig as I run an AGC bino harness, and I didn't want a setup that attached to my pack belt in case I dropped the pack for any reason. Also, the setup had to ride low enough to not interfere with my pack belt. Enter GFI's Ronin/Micro Aggression setup. It's not quite a drop leg, but does allow it to ride a bit lower from your waistline, while allowing clearance for your pack belt. The draw is super natural and its always on me. I hiked over 40 miles with it this past September and could have went another 40 more with it on. It didn't bother me in the least.

I have always like kydex for a holster, handgun stays pretty secure without any additional retention. A good holster maker can make one for your preferred carry option.

Different holster retention methods create a problem when you wear different holsters on a day to day basis. Kydex without additional retention draw the same no matter where you wear them. Nothing quite like trying to draw your handgun and finding that you did not undo the retention. When a 1/2 second may be very important you want the same draw process for all your holsters..jmo.

100% agree.

IMO....the best way to wear a drop leg is to ditch the top strap and arrange the system so the bottom strap is just below your crotch. That will keep the top of the pistol grip just below you pack kidney belt.

ymmv.

Carry my G20 in a Paradise Leather chest rig, I like the thumb break he uses, instead of a hammer strap others use. Mine works with a crooked horn Bino harness fine.

GunFighters kenai chest holster under a marsupial gear bino harness for me.
Wear a backpack and didn’t want to battle with a holster on my hip messing with the hip belt of the pack.
GunFighters also makes holsters for pack help belts but once u drop the pack you’d be without your gun, in grizzly country u want it on at all times, especially if you’re field dressing

Blackhawk septas are a nice way to carry any handgun. Secure and fairly priced.

Skip the Blackhawk Serpa. They are banned from classes put on by many high level trainers and have also been banned from multiple police departments. Under stress you begin drawing the weapon before activating the button. When you use your trigger finger to activate the release under stress it can and has on multiple occasions resulted in accidental discharges. The Serpa's can also lock your pistol if rocks/debri get into the retention mechanism.

Pretty hard to beat the kenai chest holster for the Glock 20. I had mine on today while out snowmachining, worked perfectly.

I have tried a number of holsters with my Glock 20. I used an El Paso Saddlery 1942 tanker holster for years, liked it a lot, then discovered the Kenai - it works very well. The other set up from Gunfighters INC that I tried last summer was their OWB belt holster, the Ronin, with no cant and their Microaggression panel, which allows the holster to ride just below a pack waist belt, but higher than a thigh rig. It works great. The holster rides just below your waist. One thing I like about not having my pistol on the backpack belt, is I can take my pack off and still have the gun on. Also, when camping, I don't need to take the holster off the pack, if I walk away from my camp without the pack.

I like kydex without additional retention, retains the weapon well and no release mechanism/thumb break to manipulate under stress.
