How do people get gasoline to a desolate ocean front cabin for small outboard use? I know you can’t fly it out on the float plane. I’m guessing boat it all the way out there yourself?? No road access.

Pilots fly fuel all the time. Maybe its not legal commercially?

We used to sling load barrels of jet fuel all over southeast Alaska under a helicopter. I can't see why that should have changed.

As htm84 wrote. Legally Passengers + hazardous materials = no. Hazardous materials on cargo flights only.
For helo ops same, also no passengers during slinging operations.

I sat next to 40 gallons of diesel on a flight into the wragnells. but was not allowed to bring a fuel canister for a pocket rocket.

Similar. ~ 30 gallons of gasoline sitting next to me in the back of a Beaver float plane in Canada.

When we were in the Noth west territories, they brought 55 gallon drums of fuel we would unload from float planes all the time.
