Yeah, definitely wrought iron. Theyve done three for me. Great work and fast turn around every time.I believe it's the "wrought iron" pattern. I'm sure that there was some weight loss but I don't think it was much. I forgot to weight the bolt before shipping. I didn't do it for the weight loss. Purely for looks. It was so plain looking before...

Not sure if you already mentioned it but can you tell me where you had it done? Looks great!Ended up going with the tungsten cerekote, I think it turned out great. Action is still as smooth as glass.

A local shop in WNY just one guy on his ownNot sure if you already mentioned it but can you tell me where you had it done? Looks great!
That has to be the best bolt fluting job LRI has ever done done. Most of their bolt fluting looks like crap!I had my stainless bolt fluted & cerakoted by LRI and never noticed much of a difference from beforehand. Even if there was some stickyness, I'm sure it would've gone away after a bit of shooting.

I’ve had them do 4 bolts of mine and they’ve all looked really good. That has to be the best bolt fluting job LRI has ever done done. Most of their bolt fluting looks like crap!
Did you send the whole barreled action in or did you have to disassemble it?I just had LRI coat one for me. Slick as stock. Nothing like my rifle that was coated by Hells canyon armory.
Id have no hesitation sending LRI another tikka for a full coat.
I dropped off the stocked barreled action and picked it up. Prairie dogs died in the process. When gas was $1.50 a gallon it was cheaper to drive my wife’s car out than ship the thing.Did you send the whole barreled action in or did you have to disassemble it?
What color is that?I had my stainless bolt fluted & cerakoted by LRI and never noticed much of a difference from beforehand. Even if there was some stickyness, I'm sure it would've gone away after a bit of shooting.

Anyone have any issues with cerakote chipping?
