Tarp. My main back packing hunt is Sheep every year. In the last 3 years we have spent two entire days under a tarp as it rained all day. It goes with me all the time.

1. My Warbonnet Ground Tarp has bailed us out from probably a dozen thunderstorms and hailstorms the last few years.

2. The Seek Outside Maty McMat Face. Sit pad, ground cloth, blanket, umbrella, meat tarp. It is bulky but does a lot.

Always glad I bring a stable tripod, spend so many hours glassing it makes it easier keeps you sharp because you can see more movement, definitely getting the helinox chair for next year

A chair is always worth the weight. Sunscreen and a face mask. Skin cancer ain’t no joke. And the sun is way harsher in the high country. Take it from a guy that had 1” of his face cut off and stitched back together.
