I’ve seen some start out well meaning and as time goes on, they become shills.

Same, you need to look at different sources, and if a source is sponsored or paid in any way, simply don't trust that source. If the geta the product for free (gets to keep it) with exceptionally few exceptions, don't trust the source.

I don’t read or watch any reviews. If I hear about something or see advertising about it, I come here and look it up. Then ask about that specific thing. If you spend enough time around here, you learn biases and prejudices. You also learn how people use their gear and their priorities.
