What does your entire backpack/hunt/3-5 day hunt gear list cost roughly? I have my bow and arrows and am going to get a exo k4 frame, and gonna do probably a kuiu bag on it, but as far as contents I keep looking and dang shits gonna add up quick. So ya just looking to see what everyone else lists cost them.

You have got to collect pieces over time.

You can't truly appreciate expensive high-end gear until you've packed the cheaper alternatives at twice the weight for a season or two.

In the long run the upfront cost fades from memory, but the upkeep cost to replace gear as it wears out or is outdated is pretty consistent. Year in and year out I probably spend $500 a year on gear other than the rifle, which seems pretty cheap really. This year some boots and a new rangefinder were about $500.

buy used stuff on here or eBay. Can buy solid colors of non-hunting brand gear that was designed for backpacking that's just as good or sometimes better. Take advantage of coupon codes or if you qualify for Guidefitter or GovX. I bought a used K2 3500 in 2017 or 2018 and its been flawless, think i've packed out 8 elk and close to 20 deer with it and its still works just fine, only reason i mention that is because you don't need new high end gear to be successful.
