SWFA 3-9 Low Profile Turret Interest

I would probably be up for four sets depending on what the price is. The elevation doesn't bother me too much, it's more the windage.

What is baffling to me.. The new gen 2 scopes with all the turret options. What in the wide world of sports are they doing? Maybe send them out with a single solid lower profile option that isn't dumb AF and then nobody needs 4 shitty options.

Can we . . . Can we all get along? 🤣🤣🤣

I’d be in for at least one set for the 3-9.

The fact that they exist prob makes me want another 3-9… if a solution (which doesn’t seem viable for cheap) for the Gen 1 3-15 and/or Gen 2 3-15 came available, then I’d want at least 1 set each of those.

At the right price, this would be enough to make me switch almost exclusively to SWFA scopes. I already love them, but they don’t “look right” on all my rifles. The high turrets are a drawback to me.

Edit - I have two SWFA scopes that could use low profile turret caps right now. I have two other rifles I intend to put on SWFA Gen2 6x scopes once they get released. And I have at least one more rifle which I would put a SWFA variable scope on if it had the low profile turret caps. And I would like to have another set on hand for a future purchase. So, you can count me in for 6 complete sets - assuming the price is reasonable.

I have a .270, .30-06, and 9.2x62 to which I have no sentimental attachment and which I intend to sell. If I kept them, each of them would get an SWFA scope too. My goal in the future is to try out the new RokScope on one rifle (whenever it comes out) and replace the rest of my current centerfire scopes with SWFAs.

I’ve been communicating with a company about making a low-profile turret option for the SWFA 3-9. Something as short as possible, with no wider ridged section, aluminum, anodized black, and laser etched for MILS. This is the picture I gave to them for a rough approximation of overall shape.

It will also be a fully reversible change , as the low-profile turret will be able to be removed and replaced with the stock turret. Windage and elevation will both be available, and able to be purchased separately if you only want one. We have worked out a rough price point - I’m not going to disclose it yet in case it changes, but it should be comparable to other custom turret options.

I want to be clear, this thread is simply to gauge the interest and see how many potential customers there would be. I don’t have any prototypes, there will be no presale, this is very early stage. The company is currently working on getting me the lowest possible minimum order quantity. As a private party, there’s a decent chance I won’t be able to meet that MOQ - then at least I can show this thread to the company in hopes that they will produce the turrets anyway.

So, who would be interested in a low-profile turret for the SWFA 3-9? And let me know how you would buy: set of both, just elevation turret, or only windage turret.
I'd buy 6 (3 sets of 2).
