A long time ago I bought a Primus lantern. But the igniter failed. Got a replacement and it failed within a couple days. Also the mantels were a pain to deal with.

When it worked though it was baller. If the tipi was cold in the morning I could fire that bad boy up and it'd heat the space up and brighten the tent.

I'd buy another but was wondering if anyone has tried a newer one recently. Maybe the newer ones have a better ignition system?

Are there any others that work good? Something with a mesh screen? Maybe no mantels or igniters?

Sure is nice for in the morning when you don't want to light the stove. Just need a little something while you get ready to head out.

I've had one of the primus microns for a long time, but it has mantles and igniter. I think all of the other small ones are glass which I'd worry about breaking.

I take a coleman northstar if I'm near the truck. Love that thing.

Yeah that's the one I've got. It was great for a few years. Might just try another.

My mom took Tylenol when she was pregnant with me, but only when she was hung over
