Anyone try 570 and 88's? I was able to drop tube Vhits max charge into the cases. Loaded up 10 to give a try. Also Grand and Staball 6.5. 565 has been my go to. When I got this barrel I didn't look too closely into talk about how picky Hornady bullets are. So I assumed it was a powder issue. I stupidly concluded that my barrel only liked n565. But now with the 88 TMKs I want to revisit some of the powders that could give me some speed.
H1000 will be on the list too. Ran out of brass though.

N570 was to slow for the 80s, would probably be to slow for the 88s too. Grand has been good with the 90s though.

Haha. Were only 100fps slower with 16” 223’s.

I think I'll get up at 0400 tomorrow and go run these tests. Get some work in with the trainer. Supposed to be 100 tomorrow. But only 60 first thing in the am. The curiosity is killing me.
If this Montana housing market cools it's going to be baller to own atleast a 100 yard range.
