Moving into our first house. First things first: get my best muley on the wall.
Nice buck. That's a great looking mount ! Who mounted him ?

My better half doesn’t like mounts in the house, except ducks. Apparently all women have an animal theme and hers is ducks.
Nonetheless, I got my “hunting room”

Kelly and I are looking for some more walls to put our mounts.
Very nice display! Let’s talk about that Dall, 42-43”? At the risk of sending this thread waaay off track, I’d love to hear the story.

That’s 40.5” better than my best dall. Enjoyed the story.Brooks Range Alaska Dall Sheep. Hunted with Larry Rivers way back in 2000. Was my dream hunt, saved my penny's so I could "hunt sheep". Was the ultimate adventure backpack hunt, sat on that ram for two days, got charged by a grizzly, and finally stalked to within 50 yards of the ram, for one shot in the neck. The ram is not as big as it appears only 40.5 inch, just has a real tight curl. I was so proud, and it started me a sheep hunting quest since then with 7 sheep hunts now, mostly DIY here in Idaho. Been back to the Brooks Range 3 times since, my favorite place to hunt.
Will always remember Larry, as we were stuck on an air strip on the Canning for three days in a storm and fog. Got to listen to Larry's adventures and get to know the man.
Sorry all for taking this thread way off track.
just moved the pedestal ram in....had to move my bull to the basement....
