I've had these things for years. They're rugged as hell, been around the world and back. These particular units are structurally 100% with glass that is clear and scratch free. The large 50mm objective is nice when the sun has set. The outside rubberized coating is intact but shows a bit of scuffing as evident in the pictures. No cuts/gouges.
These are a few years old but work like new still, a testament to their rugged use. Those who've served know these things are bulletproof.
