Front carry for 15s/18s?

I carry my big eyes in my pack, as a lot of us do. Started thinking (always dangerous) about carrying both my 8s and 15s in front. Anyone tried that? If so, two different bino holders? Would appreciate your input!

15s in top of pack and tripod on the side. Pack off and glassing on a tripod within seconds.

Range finding 8’s in the bino harness.

Easy and effective.

Depends on what your doing, I have a case my 15’s are in that I can hook on my belt and carry on my hip. I’ve done that with my 10’s on my chest while shed hunting in open country. I wouldn’t hunt with them that way though.

I’ve used a strap style harness (the kind with the leather piece in the back) and that works okay except there’s very little protection. Some of the more common bino harness manufacturers sell supersized versions that fit 56’s as well

Lately, I’ve thought about switching to a something along the lines of a Hill People Gear kit bag or FHF chest rig, but I’m still not sure if I want to go that route and need to verify sizing

Canyon, I have some HPG gear so I might have some interchangeability. Mostly concerned about being "front" heavy. I have never considered that being a problem in, different applications, but this is a situation with other concerns.

I’ve carried 10’s and 15’s at the same time - 10’s in fhf (since it rides high) and 15’s on strap. The weight isn’t so much that it’s gonna make you lose your balance, but it’s bulky and annoying.

I’ve ended up stashing the 10’s away — I use my cap to stabilize the 15’s to check movement and I keep my tripod handy for a better look

I wouldn't do this, but you might consider downsizing your chest binocular if you're using an 8x42. Something like an 8x30 or even a 25mm compact might fit in a small pouch that you could attach to a large binocular harness for the 15x/18x.

That's assuming you'll be hand-holding the big bino at least some of the time. Otherwise I can't see the benefit.
