You're right, I posted the wrong link and just corrected it. The new one is from CNN, posted to Yahoo, and getting a lot more exposure in the U.S.

I was actually surprised at the amount of support for elephant hunting in the comments.

There are a ton ----?---- of problems with sending elephants to Germany.


Let me start the list:


1. No soap, radio.

2. Footprints in the butter.

3. Cherry trees would take a beating.

4. You will have to take the giraffes out.

5. They object to wearing lederhosen.

6. At the pool, they prefer trunks.

7. They can't pronounce “Fahrvergnügen.”

8. Males would be at a size disadvantage vs. German women.

9. Their goose-step is extra-dangerous, whether you're a duck or not.

10. They would trample the Christmas markets and eat the Tannenbaum.

11. Even African elephants prefer India pale ales to pilsners.

12. Elephants have a sense of humor.
