Not elk per say but drew the BigGame combo in MT...wife's due date is Nov 26th. Guess that rut MD hunt is not happening. Ill head out if everything is moving along correctly 2weeks before that I guess.

Been there. When we decided to go for #2 I wanted to make sure we wouldn’t have a bday during hunting season. My daughter was born Nov. 2 and the moral of the story is I suck at math (I’m mainly a rifle hunter in CO)

2 days into the hunt, your hunting partner says; "wife just called me".

This happened to me for several years.
Then he just quit going, wife put a STOP to his hunting.

He's passed on now, but he never did make it past 3 days on our hunting trips...
