5) I dislike that the bow/gun holder is sewn in because I would prefer my arrows to ride with the fletching up. It is also hard to thread the webbing back through the ladder locks.

I'm fixating on this... when you strap in your bow you carry it fetching up? How have you never lost arrows this way? I was climbing through some brush one night with a buddy, he came out with one arrow left of a previously full quiver.... asked him how he had his bow strapped, yep, fletch up!

She's 5' tall, there's more risk to her arrows from climbing over things than going under.
