Great video Ryan! Finally switched from wool string silencers to cat whiskers with the new skinny string and this video got me started.

That's awesome forkhorn! I've heard many great things about wool. Let me know how the cat whiskers compare to your old wool silencers.

nice knot! I learned that knot from an old packer/guide. He used it to tie his horse to a limbless aspen tree, when nothing else was around. I think it is basically a clove hitch with an extra huey(bite). It won't let your horse's lead rope slip down the tree and you can always get it untied

Thanks brunse! Yeah that knot seems initially secure the cat whiskers in place while you follow up with the others.
