My college daughter being home has really spoiled us. She’s taken over my cast iron and is so good at baking. Saturday she made rye flatbread and Brie.



Tried a crumb crust on the last cherry pie. It was great:




You can see next to that pie a roll of compound butter we made. One with and one without blue cheese. That was a winner!

Made this the other night after receiving the recipe from Stone Glacier of all people. Elk stuffed grilled avocados with Pico de Gallo and cheese. Deep fried olives on the side...
