Born in Janesville. One sister and her daughter still there. I have a nephew in Franksville. Spent lots of time in the Big Musky bar in Hayward. Always make a trip there when were grouse hunting in Loretta.

I went to school in Shell Lake, so I was always amused by the highway 63 bridge, but never part of the battle. I generally say I'm from the Hayward area as it seems to be the closest place non-locals are familiar with.

My parents are in Trego now, so I get up there a good amount.
