I’ve been here less than a year but seems to be pretty typical. Whitetail/ Turkey currently. I believe rifle just opened up but don’t quote me. Have the normal small game and water fowl as well. Don’t know if there are elk in eastern tn I know Ky has them which I think is a lottery systemWhat species are there seasons for in TN?
Thank you! Hope yours does too! Thanks for the info! Hope your season goes well.
Rifle doesn’t open until the Saturday before thanksgiving. Muzzleloader opens 2 weeks before rifle does. Bow season opens the fourth Saturday in September and theres a 3 day hunt in August. Doesn’t seem to be rifle wma near Montgomery country unfortunately. Any chance you’re familiar with region 2?Rifle doesn’t open until the Saturday before thanksgiving. I know region 2 is better than region 3 where I am lol. There should be lots of public ground. Fort Campbell comes to mind but it might be archery and muzzleloader only. I would pick up a hunting reg book and look in there as it will show you some options.Doesn’t seem to be rifle wma near Montgomery country unfortunately. Any chance you’re familiar with region 2?
