Fly Fishing Bull Trout…help?

A buddy of mine always said Bing cherries were the best bait for bull trout, so I suppose tie up a fly that looks like a bing cherry

I was fishing for steelhead and ended up catching some bull trout with pegged egg setups so maybe those egg bead things look like a cherry.

Been quite some time since I fished for bulls with a fly rod. Back in the day, I had success fishing with large minnow type streamers bouncing off the bottom. Occasionally a large nymph worked also.

Pretty much mirrors what several others have mentioned
