I am wanting to start fletching arrows. I have looked through a lot of pages and am unable to find recommendations on a fletching jig. Not picky on brand just looking for thoughts and I would like to stay under $100.

I am partial to the AZ EZ fletch mini due to how quickly you can fletch a dozen arrows with one (or actually with two, I can add wraps, fletch, and tip a dozen arrows in under a half an hour).

I'd buy arrows prefletched if the only option was to do one vane at a time.

I second the AZ EZ fletch. I like the max helical( with no mods) and dead simple to use. If you're using high profile short vanes, then I'd definitely give this a look.

That's what I use too, it's so simple and quick, and well within your budget..

Blitzenburger! Honestly do yourself a favor and spend the money for something that will last. I have the upgraded kit too. But you can always purchase that in the future!

I use the bitzenberger. Heavy enough to not clamp down, adjustments galore and it's made of metal. Easier to remove glue and true with a file if needed. Short of spending $200 -300 it's the best option.

Like others have said go with a Blitzenburger. I haven't tried the AZ EZ myself but had a cheaper Bohning and it was junk compared to a Blitzenburger.

I've used both the AAE and the Bitz. I like the ability to do one vane at a time so I can clean up glue with a cue tip. I also had issues pulling the vanes off with I would release the arms on the AAE. Although you can get some crazy helical with those things if thats what your after. I think you have to step up to the Last Chance jig to get helical close to the AAE jigs.

I started with a Bitzenburger and now also have an Arizona EZ with 3" arms so I can fletch up to 3 inch vanes with a hard helical. Still use both but absolutely prefer the EZ because its easy and fast. Glue is simple to cleanup with a little acetone wipe before and after each arrow. If glue really builds up I fill a jar with acetone and a 5 min soak has the glue gelled up and rolls right off with qtip.

I have the Bohning jig and a couple of EZ Fletch jigs. The 3 degree offset EZ Fletch by far gets the most use. The Bohning is a good jig, but I only use it for feathers.

If you just want simple jig for 3 fletch, the EZ Fletch is hard to beat.

Thanks everyone! You've given me some good insight. Those were the two I had looked at. Now to just decide on specifics of helical. lol.

Bohning recommends 3 degrees if your shooting Blazers. That's one drawback to the Bitz, you will never have any idea how much offset you have.

I have a bitz and a jo-jan. Bitz is nicer but neither will let you dial in a specific offset, you have to eyeball it and Mark your settings. Doing 3 at a time would be nice but those all look fidgety.

I have a EZ Fletch, Bitz and Goat Tuff. If you are looking for something quick and easy, EZ all the way. However, if you want versatile and built to last, Bitz. I use the GT to hold my phone up for videos while I fletch with the other jigs.
