Flated Truck Toppers

Just installed mine. I’ll report back with updates as I use it… seems rock solid. It’s about 60ish pounds (estimating from lifting it) so I lifted and moved it on my own. Easy to “tie” down and easy to get working. I THINK it would work with rails for a soft roll cover installed but you would not be able to leave the cover rolled up at the window of the truck, you would need to remove that part.
I’m a little worried about the windows. They will get scratched… and I do not see any option to replace them.

There's been a few references on this thread regarding dust/water. Can any Flated owners confirm there's been no issues keeping dirt and water out? Seems like there'd be potential issues where the canopy meets the rail and of course the rear window/door.

I have had mine on in Rain and driven on the highway in the rain, no ingress. I read somewhere they had redone with windows to help with rain ingress (not sure where I read that). The windows would allow dust and rain ingress if they were removed and only the window screens were in place.

I have not had mine on long enough to answer dust. I do not see a way for dust to ingress, unless a very mild amount under the topper if it is not on correctly???

The rear window goes over the top of the door of the bed of the truck. The kit comes with a piece of Velcro to hold the window to the door to the bed of the truck. So no water can get in there unless a hose was used to spray up into the Velcro.

The bottom of the topper has a soft rubber “pad” where the topper contacts/rides on the rails. I do not see how dust could make it through this, if the topper is installed correctly.

Miles Runner is another brand to look at
