Anyone have any insight to share on these? Rugged wool on sale right now and also have a % off sitka.

Looking for a midlayer to use under waders but more so as midlayer on stand whitetail hunting. Something that I can strip down to after and wear like sweatpants, etc.

Was leaning towards the wool but have never seen or handled it. Have had their furnace line though.

Thx

I have not handled the rugged wool yet, but I would expect the gradient to be quite a bit warmer and bulkier, I think the gradient would be pretty bulky for a mid layer.

I have the gradient pants and they have one role, which is to be worn under waders winter steelhead fishing when I’m not hiking a bunch of miles

Kuiu also released a wading pant recently that may bridge the gap a little for you. For what you describe, I would expect the rugged wool to be the most versatile, because the gradient is pretty bulky to wear as a mid layer
