FL Obsidian - Exploding Crotch Issues?

I had ”pilling” after just one walk with the original obsidians in the crotch. I bought the obsidian foundry and have worn them 15 times on training hikes, have none of those issues, so the new fabric has resolved it. It might depend on how you walk...I have issues with other clothing doing the same thing.

Well I submitted another warranty claim and it has been approved. So looks like I'm gonna be eating crow on my they don't give a crap statement.

The crotch seam popped enough on my last pair of kanabs that a full on Dong exposure was next in line. I contacted FL and they are going to give me store credit for them. while the exploding crotch thing is an issue I would rather not deal with, it was early days for FL and they were sorting out their designs. They stand by their product and made it right. One more reason I am a fan.

Got my store credit. Again, not having the problem is the ideal but sticking by their product is the next best thing.
