I've got two pairs of Corrugates and I just bought my first pair of Eddie Bauer pants this weekend. I really like the EBs but I feel like the FLs are better in a few key areas. First, the weave of the material on the Corrugates feels thicker to me, which will probably help with abrasion and tear resistance. Second, I'm one of the few people who seem to really like the cut of the Corrugates. I like that they're looser in the thighs but fit tight over my boots. The EBs are tighter in the thigh and the bottoms feel like bellbottoms (they're not, it's just a looser straight fit). Third, I much prefer the pockets on the Corrugates. They have zippers on the back and two pockets on each thigh (one zippered, one not zippered) and the angle of the pockets is slanted on the EBs, which feels odd to me.
To me, the Corrugates are worth the extra money, but they're probably overkill since all of my hunting this year will be day hunts. If I didn't already own a pair of Corrugates, I'd probably be totally happy with my EBs and just buy more pairs of them. Overall, I'll be using my EBs for hiking, camping, and playing in the snow with my kid and save the wear and tear on my Corrugates for scouting and hunting.
