Fishing Yellowstone Lake

We will be in Yellowstone Natl Park in Sept and was tentatively planning a fishing trip trip in Yellowstone Lake. Does anybody have any recommendations or suggestions for fishing the Lake.

There are guide services available, or you can fish it from shore. We used to walk along the beaches on the west side and cast lures for cutthroats. My kids loved it because they always caught fish.
