That looks about perfect, color me jealous. That Ipilot is like a gift from the gods huh?

It makes boat control so easy. Whether on the pedal or on the remote, you can get the boat to do whatever you want. Spot Lock is super handy. When trolling in stronger current or wind, I can use the kicker for power and use the iPilot to turn or maintain course. I know I catch more fish because of it.

1979 starcraft ss160 im just finishing an 8 month resto on. Started after the end of hunting season. Has a spare matching 75hp johnson too im rebuilding next over winter. Last things missing will be additional seats and tracks for fishing gear - downriggers etc. Caught kokanee and rainbow trout last year, after lake trout this year.

My rebuild thread on iboats.com - couldnt have done it without the help of the starmada mob there.

We have a 1980 16' Lund Alaskan with a matching 25 HP Mercury. We don't use it for fishing as much as just running around and exploring. Almost new as it was a research vessel that had been parked in a garage for a very long time. Pretty amazing little boat. Tows and trailers great. Handles rough water pretty well.

Many days I dream of a boat that can handle South Park for more than those fleeting morning hours, or that I can just sit back and troll instead of paddling, but our 17' canoe has lead to a lot of fish over the last 11 years and quite frankly, cost of ownership is almost none.

I am recently boatless (hooray) sold for twice what I paid for it. I do have a kayak though. Would like a larger kayak to handle the Great Lakes.

Ah hell yea! I love my fishing boat. It’s built in 1994. Magnum co now known as Workskiff. I use it, and consider it a modular conversion system. One of its conversions is for Halibut and Salmon salt water fishing. Because of the welded aluminum construction it’s also functional for river work, prop rules. I’ve redone all its systems and it’s completely water resistant. The 100 gallon fuel system sits forward in three separate welded tanks with valve stops and inline filtration pre water separator. It’s very well balanced and has served well for long expedition style coastal excursions to both hunting and fishing locals.

Badass! Love that type of boat and saw a few on POW Island years ago. Thanks for sharing.
