Lintond, Not sure if you have already fixed it but Tenacious tape works awesome on puffy and rain coats. =-) Just an FYI that has worked beautifully for me.

Just wanted to chime in on First Lite's customer service. Casey was awesome when ordering some clothing from them. Items on sale from a retailer showed to have stock then when I went to order them it told me they were back ordered. wouldn't have been a huge deal but I was leaving for an elk hunt a couple weeks later. Casey hooked me up and even gave me the same price the retailer was offering. got my gear and got a fantastic bull. They definitely have a new lifelong customer.

I have washed most of my First Lite wools including Kanabs like normal laundry, minus the harsh detergents. I also set my drier like normal too. All mine have come out fine. I hope the trend continues, I hate being delicate.

Sounds like a lot of Kanabs being returned.

THey aren't the toughest pants that's for sure. I have mine one season and there is a LOT of unraveling of thread around the pockets on the legs. Seems like every time I wear them I have several new threads unraveling. I haven't called them about it. They probably would fix it but this should not be happening in the first place in my opinion. I haven't been that hard on them.

Interesting, I had the exact opposite experience. Online drop shipper showed QZ Llano, hooded Chama and balaclava all in-stock (in desired color/size) and FL site showed items in stock (same color/size). I placed the order and then a few days later FL cancelled the order on the two shirts and only the balaclava shipped. I still got hit w/ the full order shipping fee on a $30 item that could almost fit into a standard letter envelope (w/o being contacted or given the option to cancel the remaining item which I would have done...especially given the shipping charges). Called FL, left a VM with order number and a description of the events and have never heard back from them (in their defense, my VM was left in the evening, outside business hours). That was about a month ago. I'm sure they are busy and I wrote it off to how they did things, and enjoyed my elk hunt nonetheless w/o their gear. But it sound like maybe I just slipped between the CS cracks, which can happen to anyone. Glad to hear that my experience was not typical as I still really want to try their wool but have been a bit gun-shy due to the last attempt.
