First Lite's Best Item(s)

aerowool or llano zippered base LS shirt, Chama Hoody with zipper. With these two I am amazed at how comfortable I can be in almost any conditions. I've only had the corrugate guide pants for a couple months but I love them! Also, I've seen it but don't own it yet, the cirrus puffy is nice!

I love all my first lite piece, corrugate pants, llano q-zip, chama hoody, uncomphagre, brimmed beenie and shale gloves. I wasnt a fan of the corrugate pants fit at first, but ive had them modified and I grab them everytime i head it seems. My pants were pre the tall versions, so i am sure a med tall would fit me perfectly now.

Hooded Chama and Kanab 2.0. Much better fit as far as I'm concerned.

Really like all the base layers I just recieved and am really wanting to like the northbranch pants. But I haven't put them to the test yet. In a few days I will be doing just that. Report to follow.

Just picked a Halstead fleece and sizing was perfect. Sleeves are a bit long for what I'd consider for a medium, but tight enough that they don't hang down like wearing your dads suit. The extra length will be handy for a little extra warmth when my hands get cold though.

Winner in my book. So far everything FL is on point.

I've got a handful of FL items, Chama hoody and uncompahgre are the two that are with me every day. Come October the Chama is all I need when actively hunting and the puffy comes out frequently when stopping to glass or eat.

Corrugates are nice but noisier than the attack pants and don't have the hip vent zippers.

Do you ever think the SEAK raingear is overkill and wish for the Vapor?I only ask because I'm in W. WA. as well and I'm trying to decide for myself
Tim
I have both so I would say yes.

The SEAK is awesome if I'm expecting long days of hunting in the rain, especially if I'm hiking through brush. I think it makes a great shell for day hunting.

The Vapor goes with me on my backpack hunts where weight is a consideration. I also go with the Vapor if I just want a rain coat in my pack as a just in case. My only complaint is the lack of pit zips on it.

I have a bunch of it.

1. I own the cirrus puffy as my newest piece. I just used it in Nevada on a elk hunt. Great jacket. It crazy how it blocks wind. MY first text was on a 30 degree morning on my dirt bike at 60mph with only a tee shirt underneath

2. Chama Qz, I'm ordering a hooded one soon to compliment the puffy

3. Red desert boxers. Amazing, wear them for a week if u want. Good support and comfy
I also a
Have a few kuiu pieces, U can't go wrong.
BTW first lite supports giving back 2% to conservation. Check it out

I had the original Stormlite jacket and the zipper failed. They are sending me a Vapore Monday morning and I'm trying to decide if I should upgrade. How does the Vapor compare to the original

I never owned that one myself but the Vapor is lighter from what I remember.

No pit zips? I love first lite but if someone is spending upwards of 200 bucks on a jacket I hope it has some key features.

I just put a brand new with tags size L dry earth Vapor in the classifieds if you're looking.

I do find it kinda funny how you're supposed to wash everything on delicate cycle and line dry like woman's clothing, yet spend most of the time crawling through shit in them.

Having said that, my 2.0's went through the dryer and snugged up just a tad. Fit is even better now.
