I would love to have a shot at the Vapor Stormlight jacket for hunting turkeys and kayak smallmouth fishing this spring in Missouri. It would be an awesome addition to my Llano and chama garments for bowhunting as well- hopefully chasing antelope or mule deer in Wyoming. The lightweight and pack ability is very appealing.

First Lite has knocked it out of the park again! The Vapor Stormlight rain jacket would be my choice. From high Sierra Mulies to Northern Idaho Elk, and Arizona Coues deer in late December, the new Cipher pattern really is a great addition to the arsenal for my 2017 season. At only 12oz it makes the perfect pack jacket when your shaving ounces. The Cipher pattern will allow me to virtually blend in to any surrounding that I will be hunting in this year and still keep me dry and happy. The Cipher pattern should be a perfect blend in the open country for maximum concealment while hunting California Mulies and Arizona Coues Deer, while staying dry chasing Northern Idaho Elk. First Lite has always been at the top of the hunting industry when in comes to providing the best product money can buy, and leading the charge in their commitment to conservation is another reason why I go with them. The Cipher Vapor Stormlight jacket would be the perfect addition to my kit.

Vapor StormLight Jacket. I hunt the Southeast mainly during Dove, Bear, and Whitetail seasons. The rest of the year I spend exploring ridge lines of the Appalachian Mountains at least twice a month. Both jackets would be useful, but I find rain/wind jackets much more useful while packing around in the climates here year round. Wind/Rain/Snow/Hail/Sweltering Heat can happen all year round on some of these ridges. Strange weather on the Appalachia Ridge Lines. I'll put one to the test. Thanks.

I would love the opportunity to use and review the uncompahgre puffy jacket in Cipher on many upcoming hunts in Idaho this year! I missed all of the spring and fall hunting last year due to being deployed overseas so I will be hunting every opportunity I get this year. I will be hunting for Bear, Deer, Elk, and hopefully Pronghorn in the Boise mountains, Sawtooth mountains and the Smokey-Bennett area if I can get lucky on some draws. In the areas Ill be hunting, insulation is a must and First Lite has never disappointing me with their clothing line. Thanks for the awesome giveaway and good luck to everybody!

The vapor stormlight ultralight rain jacket would be perfect for me in Oregon. We regularly have rain during the fall and winter months. If it's not raining then there is always a ton of dew on the trees every morning and where I hunt, we have no shortage of trees

The First Lite Uncompahgre Puffy Jacket in Cipher pattern would be perfect for the type of use I would give it.
First, the Uncompahgre would fit my style of hunting. I hike and climb, then stop to glass for long periods. Having that hooded puffy means I don't have to deal with a hood on an inner layer when I don't need it, but it will be there on my insulation when I do need it. If I have to move quick or slow, I can choose to shed the puffy, or keep it on. The Uncompahgre would be well-suited for my trip to Idaho's Frank Church Wilderness this fall.
Second, the Cipher pattern would match well with the terrain I would use it in. New Mexico year-round, where it is dry and brown tones blend in. Texas late season. You may be questioning a puffy in Texas and New Mexico, but no matter the time of year, I never go on an overnight trip without a puffy jacket. Idaho late season will be perfect use. And, even this past year Wyoming was really dry in the early season and Cipher would have been great.
Third, the high-quality hooded, synthetic puffy would fill a big gap in my current gear. I have base layers, un-hooded down, and rain gear. But, I don't have that missing piece of hooded, synthetic puffy jacket.

First off, thanks for this awesome giveaway!

I'm going to be spending 17 days in Hell's Canyon National Scenic Area in NE Oregon on my very first solo back-country elk archery hunt this year! I've been whittling down my list of must haves since last September; a pack-able, light weight but warm jacket is high on that list as it gets down to the low 30's in the mornings. The Uncompahgre Jacket is the perfect item to fill this spot and the new Cipher pattern looks to be an excellent match for the high desert canyon country I'll be hunting. If I manage to seal the deal on a bull before my trip is up I'll still have a bear, cougar and muley buck tag in my pocket for the same time period.

That said, we recently discovered that our current foster-son will be available for adoption very shortly, and have had to empty what little savings we did have to hire an attorney to help us complete that process. While this is obviously exciting news for our family, my budget is now gone. There really is nothing else on the market that I'm going to be able to afford that can even compare to the confidence I have in First Lite. It would be amazing to be able to test out your new pattern, and would really fill a gear void that is going to make the difference between a comfortable hunt and a cold hunt come September. I'd be super stoaked to send you a honest review, along with some great pics of me with a big bull on my back! Who knows; you might even convince me to give up ASAT.

All the best,

Andrew Riggs

I would love to win the Unpronounceable. I would be using it hunting Whitetail, Mule Deer, Ducks, Geese and the occasional cold morning chasing Antelope and Turkey. I hunt in South Dakota and lets be honest you can't have too many layering options here. Plus I was born 3/26/89 so it would be one solid birthday gift!

I would love to try the Vapor jacket. I don't own a good rain jacket and really needed one last year in Colorado. Heading back this year and will take 3-4 trips up into the high country looking for deer. Last year it rained every trip I took so the Vapor would most likely get a good testing. I would like to test out how well it works with a pack on and how well it manages moisture hiking up 2000' in elevation.

Thanks for these great giveaways.

I would like to win the Uncompahgre Puffy jacket. I do most of my hunting in Northern California, where on any given day I can be in the duck blind in the marshes of the Central Valley, chasing gobblers in the oak woodland foothills, hunting mule deer on the granite outcroppings of the Sierra Nevada mountains, or predator hunting in the sage brush of the high elevation Great Basin desert. I also hunt mule deer and elk in Colorado and Montana when I'm fortunate enough to draw. I think the puffy in Cipher pattern would be great because the of its versatility. For me, it could the one jacket that works in any, and all of the landscapes I hunt.

I'd love to win the vapor stormlight ultralight jacket.

Living in western Washington the correct amount of rain gear to own is n+1, where n represents your current gear count.

Between gear shakedown runs doing some hiking, fishing, and what will be my first season of hunting (so excited!) there will be no shortage of usage. Heck, I'll probably be wearing it daily in downtown Bellevue :D

I would like to win the Vapor Stormlight jacket. My next hunt out west is going to be for pronghorn and I think that Cipher is going to be an excellent pattern for the high desert from the images, videos and reviews I have seen. The military keeps me stuck on the east coast and away from western hunting grounds, primarily my home state of Nevada, but Wyoming as well. When I am able to plan a hunt my dates are fixed and I have to take whatever weather happens to be there because I won't get another opportunity for a year. I currently have a near full compliment of Fusion, but no rain gear as of yet. That is why I would like a Vapor Stormlight jacket in Cipher.

The Vapor storm light jacket would be a perfect addition to my eastern WA archery elk pack. September can be pretty unpredictable, and a solid outer layer would really help to spend the day comfortably hunting when the weather turns bad. Not to mention using it in any other season that might include some weather. Thanks for the opportunity.

I'd like to test drive the vapor storm lite for Montana spring bear, shed hunting and general hiking/scouting. That vapor storm lite seems perfect for Montana where it rains just enough to always have a jacket with you. Thanks for the opportunity!

First off FirstLite is my favorite by far.. for many reasons.. new pattern looks badass and yes I will be rocking it this year. My stormlight jacket was the best addition to my Colorado gear last year. So the puffy this year would just put the icing on the cake.. Colorado has some crazy weather changes and being prepared is key!
The puffy would also be pretty sweet around town on those cold winter morning on the job site. Lol!

Uncompahgre puffy jacket offers the best of both worlds, staying warm and dry for all the areas I hunt and fish. North central Vermont can throw all four seasons at you on any given day. Anything that allows you to stay longer and go further gives you the edge. Wether it is archery for white tail or moose, rifle or late season muzzle loader. This jacket is versatile enough to work on all my other hunts; New Hampshire and Georgia white tail, Wyoming mule deer and elk. It does it all.
