This is probably one of the most epic trips I can recall in all my years on the interwebs. You're living the dream. Can't imagine what a good wife, son and dog it takes to make something like this not turn in to a mutiny. :D

Great story - I enjoyed reading it again a second time. So you got the bull at ~400 yards with what I'm assuming was .308 130g TTSX? How did they open at that range?

It was a .270 WIN shooting 130 grain TTSX. I'm thinking they opened up, since they did not pass through and they should have been going plenty fast to do so at that distance.
